"The Sparkle Creed"

Picture
Edina Community Lutheran Church, an ELCA congregation in Edina, Minnesota, celebrated Pride Sunday led by their female pastor in reciting the sparkle creed whose words state:
I believe in the non-binary God whose pronouns are plural. I believe in Jesus Christ, their child, who wore a       fabulous tunic and had two dads, and who saw everyone as a sibling child of God. I believe in the rainbow Spirit, who shatters our image of one white light and refracts it into a rainbow of gorgeous diversity.[1]
This creed is a gross perversion of theology. It represents the misguided attempts of a congregation to fit God into their inclusive agenda that will spare no expense to accommodate a world fully intent on making sexual sin something to celebrate and force upon all those who take God’s warnings seriously and strive to obey Him.
Meditation
Romans 16:17-18--Now I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause dissensions and obstacles contrary to the doctrine you have learned. Avoid them, for such people do not serve our Lord Christ but their own appetites. They deceive the hearts of the unsuspecting with smooth talk and flattering words.

When a nation designates an entire month to celebrate sexual deviancy, it is the harbinger of doom. It is the fulfillment of Paul’s warning to the church in the passage above. When any church teaches what is contrary to scripture, be sure that dissension is spawned and obstacles to righteous living are set in place, which causes people to stumble and drown in the muddy river called Debauchery.

Beware of those who preach false love. Love that is devoid of truth is in reality lust.

Beware of those who would deceive youth about gender to exploit their immoral passions and justify their deviant behavior. Their militancy is proof that it is not love they are truly after but rather the might to enforce their rebellious views. As evidence “LGBTQ activists at New York City's annual drag queen parade recently chanted in Manhattan, ‘We’re here, we’re queer, we’re coming for your children.’[2]

Understand that “the rainbow Spirit” is not the Holy Spirit. It is an imposter god. Any who would assert they are the same are guilty of blasphemy. These are not ordinary days we live in but rather dangerous times. Those who follow Jesus and aim to live righteously will be labeled as haters by those who champion evil. Those who correctly recognize sin, value repentance, and the need to obey God, will face fury and opposition they have previously been spared in a nation that once esteemed moral values but now rushes to advocate and legislate what is foul.

Whence came triumphant sodomy? When we Christians use contraception, we affirm the sodomite creed. We agree that sex is mainly for carnal and psychological pleasure, which babies needlessly disrupt. Meanwhile, sodomy offers the ultimate contraception. It offers carnal and psychological affirmation without interference from childbearing. Does sodomy imitate us Christians?

Has an apostate church has affirmed a sparkle creed? Let’s reserve our disgust. After accepting sodomite premises about sex, are we finally reaping what we have sown? St. Paul warned us against sowing to our flesh. We would reap corruption. Now we have.

Shouldn’t we we cast out the sodomite beams from our own eyes before we cast out the sodomite motes from our neighbors’ eyes? In our pulpits and bedrooms, shouldn’t we renounce planned barrenhood? “Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your father which is in heaven.”
