The Definition of a Strong Leader

 A strong leader is someone who faithfully unites heart and mind in honorable, selfless action for the betterment of others so as to effectively accomplish the mission.

Why do we need Strong Leaders?

  • Well for starters, can you think of anything that functions well in the human race without effective leadership? 

  • Strong leaders understand, model and connect vision, teamwork, character, attitude, conduct and wisdom to produce outstanding results.   We need strong leaders to make families, teams, companies, organizations, cities, states and nations function effectively.  Just as importantly, these leaders reproduce strong leaders!  
Daniel York, in his book, The Strong Leader's Hand, addresses these issues and more and he presents the case for six essential elements every leader must master to be strong and effective: Vision, Teamwork, Character, Attitude, Conduct and Wisdom.
