Nigeria Trip
September 4-11, 2008
First Cause sent a team on the invitation of Jerry Anze to minister in the city of Jos. Dan York, Chris Govekar, TK Moffett and Bill Delaney formed this team.
Key Results
1. Team conducted leadership training presenting ten messages in several different churches and meeting venues.
2. Established a strong prayer walk ministry anointing Pastor David Joel to lead this key endeavor. Nigerians averaged about 275 people per walk. Violence broke out in Jos three months later and the team reported no loss of life or property damage anywhere where their teams walked and prayed!
3. Team met and prayed with Governor Jang of the Plateau State.
4. Major General (ret) TK Moffett presented ethics instruction to about 50 policemen and women and presented to the Chief Police Constable a coin and plaque. Ethics is a huge issue because of widespread corruption.
5. Pastor Manasseh Wakawa was able to accompany First Cause’s US Concert tour in 2008 and Pastor David Joel was able to visit FC in 2013.
