The cells that grow in our ear canals are similar to people-movers at airports or malls; they laterally move and slough off outside the ear. As they grow, they carry old debris-covered wax out of our ears.[1]
Meditation Job 13:1--Look, my eyes have seen all this; my ears have heard and understood it. Jesus said in Matthew 13:16, “But your eyes are blessed because they do see, and your ears because they do hear!” God gave us ears so that we could hear and listen. Sir Edward Bulwer-Lytton wrote in The Last Days of Pompeii, “Look round the world—observe its order, its regularity, its design. Something must have created it—the design speaks a designer.” So, how about that designed earwax—something we pay little attention to, yet a wonderful component of what keeps us healthy.
