Consistent with our Mission Statement: Proclaiming the
Gospel; Making Disciple Makers in every Nation; it is
our desire to minister to orphans or displaced children
by providing a shelter, schooling and a trainer capable
of raising up disciple makers among these needy boys and
girls.
First
Cause is currently working two macro projects:
•
The Malacatan Project—purchasing 20 acres of land,
building an orphanage and school for children from
Malacatan and Huheuetenango cities in Guatemala.
Many of these children are caught as displaced
persons between the Mexican and Guatemalan border.
This is where the US drops off many illegal aliens.
We hope to house 300 children. Estimated Cost:
$300,000
• The Eldoret Project—purchasing 10 acres of land,
building an orphanage and school for children from
Eldoret, Kenya. The WOREM orphanage that currently
exists has 34 children (half of whom have AIDS)
located on a site that is not easily accessible, is
unsanitary and in poor condition. Estimated Cost:
$150,000.
If you
would like to sponsor a macro project, contact Chris
Govekar at

First Cause is currently working two micro projects:
•
YGC Orphanage—Kisumu, Kenya (90 orphans)
• WOREM Orphanage—Eldoret, Kenya (34 orphans)
For
$20/month one child can be sponsored. Minus the
processing fee for converting dollars to schillings and
wiring money, 100% of contributions go directly to the
orphans. First Cause does not take any cut for
administrative or overhead purposes. If you would like
to sponsor an orphan(s) contact us at
cissy@firstcause.org.
